Caroline Frederiksen

Born in Nashville, TN

With over a decade's worth of photographic experience, my interest shifted to psychology. In January 2020, I interned at the Boston Children’s Hospital with the Creative Arts team. With the discovery that my two passions could be combined, I began to pursue an art therapy career.

Over the past couple of years, I worked with the Art Therapy Place team and the Bushwick community. I was the photographer, social media manager, and administration assistant at Art Therapy Place, LLC., and co-curator for their Healing Arts Gallery. From the fall of 2023 to the spring of 2024, I worked as a studio assistant for photographer Stephen Hilger.

In May of 2024, I graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Photography.

I am currently studying for an MPS in Art Therapy at the School of Visual Arts.
